The name of the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is included in those Royal Enfield Bikes, which have been introduced with ABS (antique braking system). It is priced at Rs 1.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bullet 500 is the first bike of Royal Enfield in the new year in which the ABS has been given. According to some dealers, the bullet number is 350 after this.
It is worth noting that last month the company had introduced rear disc brakes in both 350 cc and 500 cc models. In the 350 cc model, ABS can be given until March 2019. In late December last year, Royal Enfield introduced the ABS version of Classic 350 Redditch Edition. This means that except for the bullet 350, all the carts of the company come standard with dual-channel ABS.
According to government rules, it is mandatory to have ABS in trains having more than 125 cc power before April 1, 2019. Apart from being given to ABS, there has not been any other change in the new bike. These bikes will come with standard features like Tiger-Eye lamps, classic round headlamps, and single-piece seats.
These bikes will come with Spoked Wheels as their classic fashion, a 19-inch wheel in front and an 18-inch wheel in the back. Also, both the wheels will now come with disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. These bikes will come with front telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers in the rear.
Speaking mechanically, the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 ABS will get the old 499 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with fuel injection. These engines generate power of 27 bhp and pickup torque of 41 nm. There will be a 5-speed gearbox for transmission.

In the Royal Enfield (RE) dealership in India, the classic 500 ABS version has started delivery. Royal Enfield Classic 500 ABS has been priced at Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This is more expensive than Rs. 20,00-30,000 in comparison to the standard model.
Prices will be fixed according to the color of the classic 500. Car and bike have been informed that ABS variants Stealth Black and Desert Storm are currently present in the color option. These features will be given to the rest of the variants in the coming days. Royal Enfield Classic 350 Signals Edition was the first bike in India in which the company first gave ABS features.
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 also uses the dual-channel ABS unit. It was used in classic signals edition and recently introduced Royal Enfield Himalayan ABS.
Apart from the ABS feature, no changes have been made in the Classic 500. It has 499 cc single-cylinder, an air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which generates a power of 27 bhp and a pickup torque of 41 nm. This motor has been connected with the 5-speed gearbox for transmission.
Prior to this, Royal Enfield Himalayan was launched with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) in India. The base variant of Himalayan ABS is priced at 1.78 lakhs (ex-showroom).
